M.A. Laura V. Bruno specializes in the study of the translation process. Having graduated as English to Spanish translator, she obtained her master degree in Translation Studies from Faculty of Languages at National University of Córdoba (FL-UNC), Argentina.
She coordinates the POTT programme intended to provide internships for advanced students of translation. Currently, she is in charge of the localization proyect for the University Museums known as PROMU UNC.
Also, she is Adjunct Professor of Technical and Scientific Translation at the National University of Córdoba and the National University of La Rioja (Argentina). She serves as head professor of the Graduate Specialization on Translation Studies and of the Graduate Diploma in Localization at the Faculty of Languages (UNC).
She works as a research professor for the Research Group on Cognitive Psychology of Language and Psycholinguistics at National University of Córdoba. Her research training on the translation process, L10N, and MTPE includes collaborations with the Costa Rica Institute of Technology, the University of Lleida (Spain) and the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation of Geneve (FIT-UNIGE, Switzerland).
She is also member of the Research Center CIFAL since 2019 and she has presented many works in national and international scientific events and has published many scholarly works including ebooks, chapters and papers.
